I am currently building my first kayak and am preparing the hull for glassing. I would like to know how perfect my hull has to be? In some places were the joints did not have a perfect fit, a line/groove approx. 1/64" to 1/32" deep are showing along the length of the strip. should all of these be filled with a fairing compound or will the epoxy and glass keep these from showing.
