In Response To: Wax-coated mixing cups? (Ross Leidy)

Hi Ross,

I've been using plastic disposable cups, they cost (in Australia) about $2 or $3 for a pack of 25. I've had no problems except when I've made a hot mix (I brought some inacurate pumps) after I had finished glassing and had some left over the bottom of the cups melted a bit , though the epoxy was set enough not to run through.

Perhaps if you make a hot mix in the wax cups, the wax will melt into the epoxy, I don't see how this could be a good thing.

Paul.
