Congratulations! Your maiden voyage sounds great, but 33 degrees? WOW!!! I was complaining the day before christmas when I went for a paddle here in So. California and it was 35 degrees (it warmed up to the 70s later in the day).

You're really going to enjoy your kayak and paddling.
