Bob, there are craftsmen and there are hackers. If you know how to cut fiberglass cloth properly and featheredge the cut, your overlap will not show at all. The overlap on the Pygmy is at a very small area either side of the cockpit. The overlap of the deck is structural and is also an easy hide if done properly.
