Ireland is perhaps a little limited on rivers, though the Liffey Descent to Dublin is world famous. However, as a location for sea kayaking it is superb ! Not only that, but there is a most fantastic guidebook to all the offshore islands, written specifically for sea kayakers.
That's very good value for thirty Euros, but if you can live without the colour photos and maps, then it is available for download for free, in several formats. Whilst recognising that this kayak Wiki has the scope to become a rapidly updated free guidebook to the world's kayaking locastions, it seems a shame to reinvent the wheel by putting a shadow of this superb resource here, so visit
