Info on paddling the Stanislaus River, CA

I took a slow canoe trip along the Stanislaus from the White's Ferry area a few years ago. I was interested in finding some sources of information on the area for kayaking, such as put in points and takeout points, as well as sections that would be good for expedition kayaks (trying to avoid the big rapids).
