Jason,
Building his kayak gave me a chance to try out an idea. Once the kayak was ready for water, I didn't want to give it up. I'm more than willing to build a cart for him if I can store the kayak at my place again, for the summer months. Would I paddle it while I have it? Maybe just a little. ;-)
Or maybe he is just taking advantage of an addict? Nah, that couldn't be, I'm not addicted to building kayaks, just ask my wi....no, my par....no, my neighb....no, my co-wor....no, some old friend who hasn't see me since I started building kayaks, yeah thats it. I don't like building paddles either, I didn't like building the three kayaks and two paddles that I built last year, or the kayak and two paddles that I have in progress right now. I didn't enjoy building that baby cradle shaped like a drift boat either.
I don't have plans for anything else after my wife's kayak and paddle either, well maybe a storm paddle for myself, a hollow shafted euro-paddle, a couple af kayaks for my neice and nephew, another skin on frame for myself, a strip-built kayak for myself, a folding double for going on trips, a double for some other family members....Well aside from just a few kayaks and paddles there is nothing that I particularly want to build.
The kayaks (my fleet) that I built last year are shown below.

: Something is wrong here. Isn't your brother suppose to be building his own
: boat and paddle with your help (guidance)?: So what's up with that?
: Curt can't be like my brother who is clueless when it comes to tools and
: construction (and my brother works for a lumberyard and gives advise all
: day, but I do get really good discounts from him).: Jason
