The Port Angeles paper April 9 reports that a kayak and canoe event will be hosted by Lake Quinault Lodge on April 28-30. It will include speakers, boatbuilding demos,book signings, artist presentations and a silent auction. Proceeds to Save Our Salmon. Joe Kane, author and international kayaker, will present a slide program on his travels and will sign books. Dealer reps will display the latest and k and c's will be available for rent.
