I was at the Western Michigan Symposium last year. As I said above, it's on the small and intimate side, but you can learn a lot. Check out Doug Van Doren's presentation. There were not a lot of vendors there, but a couple of interesting ones. (You will want to check out Betsie Bay . . . if you go, you'll see why!) I find the $80 registration for 3 days a little on the steep side, but can find those who disagree with me.
