Kayaking Lake Superior

I have worked up in northern WI during the past four summers. I have not had the chance to meet people who like to Kayak either up north in the great lakes area or in MO where I live during the year. I am interested in learning more about the sport but due to my limited contact with others in the sport it has been hard to do so. If you or you know of groups that are interested in triping in these areas please let me know. Thanks Mitch
