I am looking for any and all information on Paddling the following areas: Northern Atlantic Ocean, Baffin Bay, In or Near St. John's Newfoundland, Barrents Sea, Straits of Greenland, Spitzbergen Island, Rockalls area of Northern Atlantic and Bounded by North Seas. Interested as well if anyone in sharing information on any paddles in North Sea, Especially areas off the Coasts of Atlantic Canada, Greenland, Iceland , Norway, Former Soviet Union, Sweden, Germany, Nederlands. I am contemplating a crossing of these areas to raise the awareness as to the issue of Child Abuse. This would be done by crossing the the transpolar regions of the Arctic by kayak or modified sail kayaks. As crazy as this sounds from the maps I have it may be doable, but realize too that I am not all knowing and would like the input of fellow kayakers or sailors who are familiar with the region. Especially points of resupply and fresh water. Names of Airdrop services and other related data. Also known radio channels (VHF) Marine band and reference RTTY data or satlink data that would aid in the obtaining of weather and comm back to friends and relatives.
