My understanding is that any Crown Land is open for camping, but if you are not Canadian, you must pay a fee of $10/day. Your charts will show the Crown land. One thing I can tell you about that area is, there are zillions of sailboats. It is difficult to find solitude unless you get way back up into Baie Fine or somewhere shallow where the big boats can't get. This is the main reason I am looking at the Superior Provincial Park shoreline for a trip. I need wilderness bad!!> BTW, in spite of the general freezeup around here, my kayaking buddy did
