couple years ago i was on the massage crew for the AIDs ride, so there were a lot of folks unacostumed to long distance cycling. One young woman came into the tent to convalesce. Said she had just had lots of water from IV even though she said she had been drinking a peeing a lot before being admitted to the medical tent. strange reactions one can get from new stressors. Getting used to 40-45 degree water is still a whole new bag for me, loss of functioning seems to happen without becoming aware of it. spooky
