Hi Lee,

A lot of GOOD rechargeable lights have been brought about by the mountain biking industry for night riders. Cateye is a good example. Some of the setups are a good 400 dollars, tho many a lot less exspensive. The bottom line is tho, theyve done a great job at making very powerful rechargable batteries with great economy on weight. Id imagine a setup used for safety lights would burn a whole lot longer than one or two bazing "suns" mounted on the handlebar as in the case of cycling.

I think Ive created a divergent thread here so ill suggest it be carried on if need be under TECHNIQUES.
