Welcome back Rob,

I'm sorry the trip had to be cancelled, but I know how it feels. At least you got to get out there and try it. Forgive me if I laughed just a bit as the kayak floated away. When I read that you parked the boat I thought "what if it were to float away... wouldn't that be the end-all." Yep, certainly nature was against you on this trip. Well, at least you didn't wake up on an island and the kayak nowhere in sight!

I hope you and Ken have fun on the lake. Sounds like you need to bring a pellet gun for the mosquitoes. Maybe they could be your source of protein???
