Northern Lake Huron Paddling Resorts?

Finally, I can break away from the need to follow the "Building" BB posts, now that the project is nearly over, and get to those posts with the real fun stuff...the trips. I am looking to take the family up north to break them in on some wilderness style paddling before selling them on overnights in the back country w/o showers and toilets. My first venture hopes to be up on the northern coastline of Lake Huron, w/in a day's drive from Sault Ste. Marie. If they pass muster, I'll propose the Boundary Waters the following year. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone that has lodged up there who would recommend a particular place/area to search. Thanks. ....Paul
