I'm not really qualified to make this judgement, but i'd venture a strong guess that the majority of Sea Kayakers are out to "touch the face of God" be it literally or figuratively. It might not be articulated as such to oneself, but the general feeling is there. Compare Sea Kayakers to the Windsurfer Crowd and you might see what I mean. By the way, Im not slighting windsurfing in the least. The Sea group just strikes me more a s a reflective, insightful lot.
