I was scared to go again

You know, after coming back (to my usual routine of night paddling back home), and in spite of the lesson of serendipity, I was scared to go out again in case nothing I did now would be worthwhile in comparison. But it is not true. I guess one can find beauty in the smallest of experiences and my short excursions since have their own peace and tranquillity that I'm relieved are as special as ever.
And notwithstanding the irrelevance of type of boat or conveyance - on the third night up there when I was out alone, my thoughts turned on the course I am presently embarked on in relation to kayaks. I've easily got 4 different short kayak design approaches that I'd like to play around with for the next couple of yrs or so but now ................As I was gliding along, I was confronted with the fact that I really couldn't experience this for any length of time unless I designed some long yaks. So for most of that trip I explored a couple of hereto fore uncomtemplated possibilities(by me) to make.
So quite frankly, I don't know where I stand. Or where I'm going with this. But after surfyak I think I'm expanding my focus because I wish to touch the face of god again and to cry out loud to the unhearing wind.
