Nick, once again you've done a great service to us all. It's not so much that rbp is filled with whitewater stuff, much of it is babble that approaches meaningless, and is stuff that should be dealt with in private e-mail. Us flatwater people may not have been squeezed out, but I don't have the time to go though all the stuff on there to filter out the few posts that are really interesting to me.

Now, on to trips. Here in southern Michigan we've had more snow than I care to think about, but we're supposed to have several days of 50 degree temperature with rain. If some lake opens up a hole 50 yards across that is in a place I can drop my kayak into it, I'm planning on being on it. I haven't been in a kayak since December 13 and am having withdrawal symptoms.
