Ian,
for a number of reasons, that link of the white shark is a bogus story. First off, hes a "photography student". No doubt he is using or learning ADOBE_ PHOTOSHOP [proffesional edition]. The commercial photo tool of choice in which you can literally do hollywood - type special effects. Cut and paste literally seamlessly. And its easy. Consider the fact that the white shark in both pictures is also of two significantly different sizes. Apparently it almost doubled in size in the moments before the attack. Secondly, a whiteshark, doesnt lunge out of the water jaws agape onto literally thin air as seen in the "attack". Surfers for example ALWAYS have there surfboard [and some limbs] grabbed at from either a 45 degree angle or straight under from beneath. The jaws agape and charging outta the water is nonsense. The jaws open, and the eyres rollup at the very last moment. The covering over the eyes roll up.
He mentions that "Joe" was wearing his Nikes' when he got eaten. Would you really publish such an assenine line about a friend of yours lost that way?
"Always paddle faster than you chum". I cant believe theres any person , i dont care ghow stupid who would leave a fatty, bloody entrails scent leading up to ones own kayak.
