Here is a flash of human nature for you. With all the posts that I have read and submitted on this subject, the truth is that unless I go back and re-read the original post, I cannot for the life of me remember the name of that company!! The ideas and varying viewpoints are what I learned the most from. If I was doing a guided trip on Quadra, I may very well pick this company without realizing who they are! But more importantly I would remember this discussion when contemplating any guided trip anywhere in the world, which to me is far more important than the name of one piss poor guide company.
So now we all have good and varying info on protecting ourselfs in this situation. Staying alive is far more important to me than putting some guy out of business.
Byron has done a far greater service by bringing this incident to our attention and opening this discussion than he could ever have realized in a court of law. Not only did he bring this company to our attention but he made us contemplate our own reactions in the face of a simalar situation.
So thank you Byron, and thank you for not taking offense to anything that was said.
