You be THE MAN! The first big solo trip is like, well, you know! Words fail to put it in proper perspective, but time certainly does.

To be real honest, Rikki and I talked about this trip quite a bit. On one side she needed time away from the grind she's in, and on the other hand, I saw what a solo trip would be about for you. That you needed anyone along in any disaster is not true, and I'll say it again, who calmly picked their route down a waterfall, and then spent the time perched on a rock ledge picking the wreckage out of the water? In terms of style points that rates several thousand. I still think that's the coolest thing I've heard for quite some time now.

You need to paddle the rest on your own. It's a small club that does these things alone as you know.
