Rob,
Thanks for the report, what a help is was in passing a Sunday afternoon in the lab.
I'm sure you will get better weather for the rest of your trip. Also keep in mind that the weather is part of the adventure, part of the experience. Do what you have to do to stay comfortable in spite of the weather. It looks as though you will be making better time than you had expected, don't hesitate to take a weather day off. Work on your journal, read a book, catch a fish, write a poem, cook yourself a great meal. You ARE ON the trip of a lifetime, the kind of trip most people only dream about or only experience by reading about it in a magazine. You are your own guide, approach it that way, do everything in your power to make the client(also you) have the trip of a lifetime. If you push too hard you are liable to take some of the fun out of the experience.
Keep smiling and the sunshine will follow!
Ken
