Damn,
Now I know what happened to the seal. Lemmie see now, you kidnapped two lobster (what about their children?) from their natural habitat, tortured them by shoving them into a dark unfamilliar bag causing them undue stress (possibly causing them to have a heart attack) then tossed them into a pot of boiling water (I hope it was at least salted to mimic their natural habitat) as they shouted out their outrage with poetic epithets at such an untimely death? Oh well, better you than another sea creature which probably wouldn't have even have appreciated the garlic in melted butter. Mike, how can I talk about the food I eat on my trip now after reading the outrageous tantalizing details of your own palate teasers. Lemmie see, my report would read: Day One: at dehydrated eggs, forgot to add water, mouth a bit gummy but ok to hum tunes. Lunch: sun warmed trail mix, oil separated out and oozed on the raisins, fed sqirrels instead Supper: rice w/dehydrated veggies, not cooked long enough, bit crisp, something stuck between my two front teeth After dinner drink: Guinness, warm in a dented silty can. Hmmmm, it doesn't compare to your menu. Maybe I'll find a nice fat waterbug that I can Bar-B-Que with the creole spice pack I'm bringing along. I wonder if I can snare a gopher or two? Questions but no answers. LMAO! Hey, I loved the write-up. Can't wait for part two or the book. I'll send you a copy of the book I'm gonna develope on Canadian Outdoor Wildthing Cooking and Survival if you send me one on your great trips. Deal?
