That's some trip, as seen by a California flatwater novice. As I read the story I pictured a group of young athletic-looking fellows. Thanks for the picture of the group at the end -- now that's a group with whom I can identify. Thanks also for the link to your great website. I'm already adopting your cure for kayaking's secret pain. Yesterday after an hour of test-paddling my new Coho without adequate leg support or foot pegs, I disembarked on the beach and immediately fell to one knee in a worshipful pose as I discovered that my leg was not only painful and numb, but also momentarily functionless.
