Hey Woody, Jack Martin and CPA put on a great cold-water seminar two years ago. It was full of charts. Can't tell you how much simpler my decision making is after the experience of floating, dog paddling in 39 degree water and 41 degree air for 30 min. then paddling and performing 1 paddle float rescue.

My conclusion is that charts aren't me. If in doubt, walk into the water, then get in your boat. Works for me.
