Nope. I'm guessing there isn't much 'beach' in Manhattan anyway. Nor much of a reason to land anywhere. Out in the populated islands of the NW, beaches used to be pretty open, but with the hordes of kayakers come some that just don't get it. So now just about all private shoreline is posted. Can't blame it all on rude paddlers, though. There are many many more beachfront homes than there used to be. Don't know what the rules are in Washington regarding true ownership below high/low tide marks, but I don't paddle in those areas anyway. There are still tons of places to 'get away from it all'.
