Although I live in Connecticut I don't know exactly what the local laws are. I try to confine my seashore landings to areas that I am sure allow public access or to areas that are remote enough that no one will be disturbed by my presence.

I do belive that ownership of beaches is governed by state and local law and can vary widely. In some states the landowner owns the beach down to the LOW tide line. ( I think that's the case in Maine)
