Lars,
Id be glad to join you but not with the Kayak [if you want to call it that] which I own now. This winter I'll be building a Chesapeake 17, till then tho, I might as well say I dont have a Kayak at all...
While your in the area, I'd like to recommend a GREAT Sea Kayakers attraction off the coast of Connecticut. They are the THIMBLE ISLANDS. I believe you can get to them off of exit 56 from i95. Recheck that exit number tho. At any rate, should you decide to go you will NOT forget the THIMBLES! The smallest Islands, outcroppings of rocks with homes atop them. Often one to an outcropping! To see these houses suspended on stilts on barely enough rock with water all around recalls a feeling from seeing a Dali painting. Enhancing the effect is the fact that the THIMBLES are basically a whole neighborhood on water!!, Just very surreal. I have too believe ANYBODY whose kayaked saltwater in CT knows about the THIMBLES.
Anyone want to second my motion?
Best,
Pete
