What a well written piece. Quite often Ive found the articles/stroies in Sea Kayak magezine a little wanting of, I dont know... talent? The said story hear tho was quite captivating, well flowing, humorous while enlightening too.

Just a pointer on night cruising. Take it from Night Scuba Divers... [no im not one]

Those plastic green chemical filled sticks that glow in the dark [when bent like a "v"] are fantastic when traveling with a group in the dark. Hook one on the front of your vest and one on the rear. That way everyones accounted for. They glow for hours.
