Towing a kayak with a motorbike

Do you know of anyone who has towed a kayak behind a motorbike or motorcycle? Crosswind towing, and heavy traffic, would seem like insurmountable problems to me.

(Background: My son is in Korea in a temporary teaching position, and wants to build a boat, but does not want to have to buy a car and trailer in which to haul it around. He owns a motorbike, how- ever.)
