I use two methods to help pack bulky bags, etc in my kayaks. One is to use compression stuffsacks (easy to buy or easy to make by adding straps to your sleeping bag stuff sack). The other is to buy or make stuff sacks that are the same volume as your sleeping bag stuff sack but are longer and narrower. These fit thru hatch holes and into the kayak shape much better than those that come with your gear.
Either method will then go into a dry bag and fit most kayaks.
