Whew!!! That's quite a story, hurry up and build that new kayak 'cause I want to read the rest of the story. Glad to hear that you are safe and sound. The trip did not turn out the way that you had planned, but your spirit has not been dampened and you are going forward with your plans, they are just slightly delayed while you build your next boat. Look on the bright side...you have a great story to tell your grandchildren someday!!!
Spend the time your were supposed to be paddling, building, and you'll be well on your way.
