Hi Peggy,

No, gender has nothin' to do with it. It was just the tone of your post that may have thrown some folks off.

Usually folks gush about the scenery, and say little about the guides....

and the fact that you hadn't posted here before is often a sign that someone is SPAMming. SPAMmers have gotten more sophisticated these days, so people have grown more wary.

Most spammers don't reply to the replies to their posts, or offer well thought-out responses at that.

A lot of posters are from the NW, NE, or Great Lakes. Few of us have paddled down there....please elaborate!!! We may not flock down there in droves to see what you saw, but we can at least paddle vicariously through your description.
