I'm looking on some info on Lake Powell. Has anyone here ever paddled there? One place I'm lookin at putting in is at the end of the road through Blue Notch Canyon by Castle Butte. Is this area scenic?
How about Hite Marina? Would this be a good choice? What is the terrain/scenery like? Will this end of the lake be crowded?
I guess the perfect area would be on that is very scenic, has a lot of hiking potential, and will get me away (if that's possible) from the motor boats and houseboats. Does anyone know of any cool website that talks about kayaking on Lake Powell. Any advice would be appreciated.
