I myself am also fairly new to sea kayaking, but have just begun collecting the supplies for my guillemot. I do have access to a glass boat, so I can still get out on the water. I moved to the area fairly recently and have yet to find many people to get outdoors with. Do you know of any outing clubs in the area (RI)that paddle, hike, climb, ski...?
