Hi Mark, When I was there last 4th of July weekend, I parked at the Clark Spring boat launch area for $5 a day, no permit or other fees that I knew of required, and paddled a short distance (couple of miles?) out to the Ridgeville Islands. The farthest one east has a picnic table and a few firerings, and several flat spots for rolling out a sleeping bag/tent. I liked camping on the islands because that eliminates the possibility of a visit from a bear. There are other islands on the lake but I didnt have time to find them. Have a great time! Dave
