Im an artist living in Connecticut and i paddle a 17.6' multichine kayak in the waters of Long Island Sound, occaisionaly farther east to RI. I "use" lakes as practice basins, or for when daycare needs insist it. My favorite bodies of water localy are Long Island Sound on out to Newport.
Kayaking is just another way I appreciate the sea aside from my painting.
