The seals on drysuits are designed to be replaceable. The best material for them is latex, but it's not extremely durable. It will last longer if you treat it with a UV protectant such as 303 and use talc on the inside to make the seals easier to pull on.

That's easy to fix. Get a round container that's 1 1/2" - 2" larger in circumference than your neck and insert it in the neck seal. Let it sit for several days. The seal will stretch out a bit and be much more comfortable.

Try the above recommendations and your suit will be more comfortable and easier to don and doff.

If you bought a coated nylon drysuit, it won't breathe and you'll get damp; there's no way around it. That's why I spent the extra bucks for a Gore Tex suit. Even if you do get damp from overexertion, you'll dry out after a few minutes of inactivity. Gore Tex is expensive, but its performance justifies the cost.
