I have been around water all my life and I am the last person to panic usually but here are my concerns. My spray skirt is very tight. So tight that I weight trained during the winter to have enough strength to get the spray skirt on and off, and I left it on the kayak for a couple of months hoping to loosen it up some. I can tell by my videos that others put their spray shirts on with much less effort then I do. The other concern is the watertight compartment between my legs and the tightness of the kayak deck on my feet so it’s all pretty cramped. I’m not so worried about this last one. Once I prove to myself I can get the spray skirt off at the last minute of breath I will be OK. Yesterday I bought my goggles and snorkel and fitted it with a tube. Picture. The tube is very curled and I may try to heat and straighten it some. And it seems it would work better if I could put a somewhat sharp bend by the mouthpiece to make it fit better in my mouth. Does this retrofit look right? The pieces left over aren't used, right?
