Actually, the registration process for EZBoard, though annoying, is pretty innocuous. The intent is not for marketing, but to keep spam and flamers off the boards, which it does. A bigger problem is that EZBoard doesn't seem to be all that reliable. I belong to a couple of groups that use it and they're down periodically due to EZBoard problems. I also really dislike the format compared to this one, which is simpler, more compact on the screen and offers much more flexibility.
