Actually, that doesn't irritate nearly so much as a system that requires
me to accept junk mail and "offers" from companies in which I have no
interest before I can register to make a contribution to the forum.

Junk mail is a form of human rights abuse, and making it impossible to
opt out of at least some of this crap is quite immoral.

I'm afraid I won't be using your forum, or any other ezboard forum, after
all. I'm glad I opted to create a mailbox for the specific purpose of
registering, which I can now delete.

Pity - it looked such a good idea, too ! Perhaps you'd like to set up
a forum on your own server, so you can avoid this sort of abuse.

It all helps to make us really appreciate what Nick does for the
international kayaking/kayak building community. Thanks again Nick !
