Bulkheads

In Response To: Re: Here's the coast guard press release *Pic* (John Monroe)

John, why don't yo give yourself more of a floatation guarantee and add bulkheads front and back, using small hatches for access. I could never build a kayak without that added protection. I think your floatation idea has merit and I hope to learn how well it works. That said, how about those bulkheads?
