: from yacht sources are pretty stiff compared to Spectra throw rope lines.I've been using the polypro for tow/throw lines. It's the softest line I've seen and it pays out smoothly. I like the fact that it floats, too.
BTW, Spectra and Vectran are two different types of fibers. I've seen them blended into a single strand for other uses (bowstring material), but I don't know if anyone makes other types of cordage this way.
