I had this discussion with the family at Christmas. My sister bought her whitewater boat from the estate of somebody who had died in the surf, and was giving me a hard time.

Yes, I'll take every reasonable precaution to keep from biting it. I'll work at the skills, learn from the masters, and learn from others's errors. And if it happens anyway, I'll be saying to myself - 'dang. I was sure having fun till that happend'. And if it were me, I'd want you all to be analysing it, learning from it.
