With this bulletin board it does seem like a small world sometimes. Kathy and I went over the things you covered with her on the water. She has heard them before. She has practiced them before (on flat water). This past winter she learned how to roll in the pool and has been able to be more aggressive with her strokes. But there is truly no substitute for experiencing the real thing. We have been paddling for 3 years now and have starting thinking about expanding our kayaking venues. (Maybe it's just me who wants to expand.) We'll take your advice on a smaller boat for Kathy and some formal kayaking instruction for both of us. We really appreciated your help. I showed Kathy your first post. She asked me to tell you she doesn't weigh 120 lb. The PFD makes people look heavier than they are :-).
