Whew! - relief

: sponsons - and therefore able to get on back deck.
A dumb idea is then to have a centralized, lined like 'day hatch' that youre just sitting one for defecation, urination in bottle and discard is easiest that way. As more people turn to no impact paddling this may be one way to contain a toilet. The yak is the toilet.even when on shore(and returning to an old rant - perfect symbology and usage for those black rubber hatch tops)
: seat like w/w seats - the water bottle holder is like a urinal trough.
Ive thought for long that seats sorta look like collapsed porta potties. And those w/ the bottle holder pointing forward between the legs add to this. So several ideas 1/What if the poly formed seat had a 4in wide groove in it touching the hull (like as low and deep as possible)from the back of the seat all the way to the front of the bottle holder location, and this groove was in effect a continuation of the bottle holder. And where the bottle holder goes a lousy sponge to control spillage, and below the seat a shaped bottle holder(mayhbe nfg as water will heat up) like a continuation of the seat. Remove bottle and use the trough, gently remove sponge on a tether, rinse and clean up groove, lay back in bottle.
2/Maybe in fact the whole seat is an enclosed volume (hey more floatation) and comes w/ accordian like sides, that either inflate or hook onto the side boards(those vertical bds beside the seat) for an upper (say abt 3-4 in) usage. Hole in middle of seat for no1and 2, w/ a rubber lid simile or sliding cover.(the cover is a bit difficult as it should seal for rollover in water and off)
: strong thigh pads on either side that inflate to therefor slightly move
: sideways so you can sit on them and have space between - plastic bag or
: sheet on seat for no 1 or 2.Hip pads not thigh pads, maybe have a seatliner already in place like motorcyclists continually replaced eye shields, use and another is already below.
: Depends on some amt to cockpit size and beam for the amt of space to
: manouver.Obvious, big cockpits may allow minimal upward move ment to utilize, wide yaks easy, tight skin yaks are way moredifficult and the narrow ones.
: But for balance the simples ideas is to just buy and mount another paddle
: float. put paddl behind and If you use the concept that I talked about w/
: the paddl e leash and put the balance on the person and not the yak, I bet
: you could even use a tight skin yak by leaning back keeping the paddl e
: loom horizontall w/ yr elbows etc as you pushed farther and farther back.
: Maybe even to turn sidewaysI quite like this idea as it allows balance on either side during awkward situations.MOndo variable outrigger- either side prob better than that hand float, extended, or just held like a dumbell. For the experiencd of us, the bouyant paddle w/ float on either blade could be leant back on on one side of the yak only w/ the lower legs still in the cockpit keeping the boat upright or atleast in contact, while the natural bidet takes place. So much floatation on one side, just 'brace' up. Cold for cold water. I could even contemplate removing clothing, slipping down farmer john in line w/ the yak, if the back deck is low. But I gues the farmer really should have relief slots of some kind.
