Actually, I can roll pretty reliably on both sides now, and if that doesnt work I can reenter and roll pretty quickly. I havent yet practiced in the rough, thats what I'm hoping to do as soon as possible. Thanks for your thoughts, it definately helps clarify. I should just go out and roll a few times, and see how it is.
: if you're paddling solo you should be able to roll or, using a paddlefloat
: re-entry, get back in your boat within 5 minutes. if you're paddling with
: a buddy, he should be able to rescue you within 5 minutes. therefor, you
: need clothing which will keep you warm for that long. if neither of these
: parameters can be met by you or your buddy .. i think you shouldn't be on
: the water til spring warm-up.
