beam / volume / weight affect rolling

Glad to hear you are enjoying your boat.

I'd recommend learning roll mechanics in a different boat. In my experience Feathercrafts seem more difficult to roll than most rigid boats. I've also found it dificult to achieve a snug fit in Feathercrafts ...and a snug fit definitely helps rolling.

Some of the narrower models of FC might not be too bad, but I'd still find a narrow "loaner" to learn in.
