...but the exercise I got from the set up imitated a kayak padding motion perfectly. My el cehapo idea was as comfortable as a kayak. I noticed that the machine you bought doesn't imitate kayak instability. My set-up included the 4x4 post to mount the seat on to create the usuall instability you get with a narrow beam kayak (say under 22"). I used the money that I saved NOT buying a fancy fancy machine to go on a few paddling trips.
